Shahid Afridi Confirms Getting Covid-19 Infection | Fans Pray For Recovery

It’s bad news for cricket fans especially for Pakistani ones as flamboyant cricketer Shahid Khan Afridi has tested positive for Covid-19, thus becoming the second international cricketer from his country to be tested positive for the virus. Shahid Afridi who is also know by the tag name Boom Boom has tweeted about his being tested positive on twitter.

“I’ve been feeling unwell since Thursday; my body had been aching badly. I’ve been tested and unfortunately, I’m covid-19 positive Need prayers for a speedy recovery, In sha Allah”, tweeted Shahid Afridi aka Boom Boom.

The emotional reactions for the all rounder have come in from all the world especially from from the cricket fraternity offering prayers for his speedy recovery.

India’s ex cricketer and BJP affiliate Gautam Gambir, who has been seen getting into online fights with Shahid Afridi has reacted to the whole development.

“Nobody should be infected with this virus. I have political differences with Shahid Afridi but I want him to recover as soon as possible. But more than Afridi I want every person infected in my country to get well as soon as possible.”, tweeted Gautam Gambir

He further opined, “I have to worry about the people in my country. Pakistan has offered to help India but they need to provide help in their own country first. They have offered to help and I am thankful for that but first they need to eradicate the cross-border terrorism.”

Shahid Bhai aka Boom Boom might have contracted the viral load while on his mission to help the needful and poor.
