Former Pakistani pacer Mohammad Amir was surprised to see himself trending on Twitter Saturday.
Following Shaheen Shah Afridi’s from national team for T20 Asia Cup 2022, Pakistani fans started recommending Amir for the latter’s replacement.
While reacting to the Twitter trend, Amir, who took retirement in 2020, asked his fans a question. “I am trending on twitter but why?” the left-arm pacer wrote.
In reply, a lot of people asked him to take his retirement back and join Pakistan team in absence of Shaheen.
