Pakistan Team In Shock As More Cricket Players Test Covid-19 Positive
What comes as a shock to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Pakistani fans all over the world, seven more players/cricketers have tested positive for Covid-19, thereby adding more players to list. The increasing number of cases in the green team made the authorities set the alert buzzer on.

The list of players who have so far tested positive are: Mohammad Hafeez, Imran Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Kashif Bhatti, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Rizwan and Wahab Riaz
After official confirmation of three players having tested positive on Monday, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday confirmed that another seven players have tested positive for COVID-19 .
Now the total toll of players in the squad finalised for England tour reaches 10, making the chances of canceling the tour very strong.
The PCB on Monday had organized the 35 tests in Karachi, Lahore and Peshawar on Monday as Pakistan continues to gear up for the Test series against England.
There’s also a sigh of relief for Pakistan cricket as most of the reports have been found negative. Among those found negative are : Abid Ali, Asad Shafiq, Azhar Ali, Babar Azam, Faheem Ashraf, Fawad Alam, Iftikhar Ahmad, Imam-ul-Haq, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Abbas, Naseem Shah, Sarfaraz Ahmed, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Shan Masood, Sohail Khan, and Yasir Shah.
Pakistani Sportsmen who have not tested yet: Shoaib Malik, Cliffe Deacon and Waqar Younis.
There are apprehensions of seeing a spike in cases in the cricket arena of Pakistan and more tests will be done in coming days.
Pakistan has become the first country in the world to register most number of sportsmen in the Covid-19 list.Earlier ex cricketer Shahid Afridi tested positive for the COVID-19 and he is now responding to treatment and recovering well.
