Massive Spike of Covid-19 cases has been reported in Jammu and Kashmir with a total 620 cases on Sunday as the graph shows an alarming trend. The positive cases have accumulated to 4087
As per the officials, 583 were reported from Kashmir and 37 from Jammu.
The district-wise breakup of the cases
Anantnag 59 , Srinagar 87, Kulgam 161, Shopian 24, Baramulla 132, Kupwara 7, Bandipora 21, Budgam 18, Pulwama 60, Ganderbal 14, Jammu 22, Udhampur 1, Kathua 2, Poonch 1, Samba 2, Rajouri 4 and Doda 5.
274 were reported at CD’s diagnostic lab and 58 at SKIMS Soura’s viral diagnostic laboratory.
The above cases today include 308 cases that were reported yesterday night.
The Doctors Association of Kashmir has warned that the easing of restrictions would make the situation worse. Director SKIMS, AG Ahanger has also confirmed the community transmission in Kashmir and has hinted that the number of COVID-19 cases could surge up in coming days.
