Increasing population of stray dogs in Bandipora villages of South Kashmir have made the life of people hell who feel unsafe to venture out of their homes out of fear of dog attacks. At least 20 persons were injured in village Check Mantrigam, Tangath areas of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district on wednesday creating panic in the villages.
The residents of these villages alleged that the stray dogs are on prowl in their areas and have attacked and injured at least 20 persons so far.
The injured were referred to district hospital Bandipora (North Kashmir) while some among them had to be ferried to Bone and joint hospital Barzulla.
Meanwhile, residents appealed administration to deal with the canines which they said had endangered their lives
