As per the CBSE Board Official, the students will be appearing for the annual exams in their own respective schools, on contrary to the designated exam centres. This was done to ensure the minimal distancing between the candidates and the concerned schools will be held solely responsible for ensuring social distancing norms during the whole examination process. Furthermore, the students will be required to carry their own sanitised bottles and cover their face with the mask

The Ministry is also mulling to declare the board exam results by July-end and evaluation process has already begun for exams which were conducted before the lockdown was announced.

The board on Monday announced the date sheet for the pending class 10th and 12th CBSE board exams, which will now be held from July 1-15 with strict distancing norms in place.

The exams had been shifted to a later date due to the nationwide lockdown imposed on March 25, 2020, to contain the spread of COVID-19.

The class 10th board exams are only due in North East Delhi owing to the law and order situation that had arisen during the protest against the citizenship amendment act. On the contrary, the class 12th CBSE exams will be conducted across the country

The HRD minister said that efforts are being made to ensure that the result is declared by July-end.
