Amid growing criticism to government’s decision to reopen schools in Jammu Kashmir, the advisor to Lt Gov K K Sharma on Wednesday cleared the air saying that there was no such decision to open schools on 15th June in J&K , J&K Government Official said on Wednesday.

“Advisor to Lt Gov K K Sharma has said that J&k Govt has not taken any decision to open schools on 15.06.2020. However instructions have been issued to schools to ensure sanitization of school premises in view of Covid 19.”
Meanwhile , the government had a couple of days before directed schools to be prepared for reopening of schools from mid june.The move was opposed by the parents, who termed it as dangerous.
