The whole community in Ujjain district of Madhya Pradesh was shocked as a ruling BJP municipal councillor and leader dies due to the deadly coronavirus infection. The forty-year-old victim identified as Muzaffar Hussain died at the RD Gardi Medical College Hospital in Ujjain district of Bhopal Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. He was admitted at the same hospital some two weeks back, wherein he tested positive for COVID-19.

With his death, the total of deaths in the state reached 31 with 156 positive cases.
As per the reliable sources, the deceased councillor had been involved in the distribution of various day to day essentials, including food grain and food packets among commoner in Ujjain and is believed to have contracted the deadly viral COVID-19infection during that time.
Muzaffar Hussain is now the second BJP councillor in Madhya Pradesh to fall prey to novel Coronavirus infection. A BJP councillor Dev Krishna Sankhla who was a municipal councillor in Indore had died due to the deadly infection at the SAIMS Hospital in Indore.
